Oracle DBA / Database Administrator

Summary: The Oracle DBA role involves managing and maintaining Oracle databases, specifically versions 18c and 19c, with a focus on performance optimization and troubleshooting. The position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setup, and requires experience with various operating systems and database upgrades. The candidate will also be responsible for applying patches and implementing Golden Gate solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, working with Oracle 18c and 19c.
• Apply PSU patches to various versions of Oracle databases.
• Upgrade databases to 19c and perform rolling upgrades for Oracle environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot Golden Gate solutions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot multi-node RAC systems on ASM.
• Upgrade and migrate large databases across data centers.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Create and troubleshoot ASM instances.
• Maintain a good understanding of Oracle architecture.

Key Skills:

• Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, and SUN Solaris UNIX operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 18c and 19c.
• Knowledge of applying PSU patches and performing database upgrades.
• Experience with Golden Gate implementation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot multi-node RAC systems on ASM.
• Experience in upgrading and migrating large databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify performance bottlenecks.
