Summary: The OpenText Exstream Developer role involves developing, testing, debugging, and implementing code for applications and systems, with a focus on automation and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, debug, and implement code for existing and/or new applications and/or systems.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing of applications/solutions.
- Embrace best software engineering practices and help onboard applications onto a Continuous Integration pipeline.
- Work with users and QA to perform Quality Assurance testing of applications and resolve all reported defects/issues.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
- 4 to 5 years experience on OT Exstream applications development, and configure them to run on Linux.
- Scripting using Perl, Knowledge on XML files.
- Full SDLC development methodologies including Agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban.
- Experience with all phases of application programming.
- Ability to perform code review and refine the code for better performance.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
- Prepare, build, and ready the code for deployment.
- Document the system functionality and transition the knowledge.
