Openlink Developer - Inside IR35 - Commodities Trading

Summary: The role of OpenLink Developer (Java/C#) involves supporting a global trading tools team for a major bank, focusing on enhancing the OpenLink platform and integrating it with the commodities application stack. The position requires strong experience in OpenLink platforms and scripting in JVS/AVS. This is a fully remote contract position classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is rolling for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance the existing OpenLink platform and expand integrations with the global commodities application stack.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to support the trading tools team.
• Implement greenfield projects and perform version upgrades on OpenLink platforms.
• Utilize scripting in AVS/JVS for Open Components.
• Ensure compliance with commodities regulations and reporting.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 7 years of experience with OpenLink, including implementation and upgrades.
• Strong technical skills in scripting with AVS/JVS and OpenComponents.
• Experience in commodities and products implementation across multiple classes (Metal, Oil, Gas, Power).
• Understanding of Connex Gateway and external pricing models.
• Desirable knowledge of commodities regulations and compliance reporting.
