Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate header-based authentication applications to modern standards such as SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and OAuth 2.0.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migration.
  • Implement Okta User Provisioning from external directories and Okta Universal Directory.
  • Automate user lifecycle events such as onboarding, role changes, and deactivation.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Okta Workflows for end-to-end user lifecycle management.
  • Automate repetitive provisioning and access management tasks.
  • Onboard and offboard users to Okta ensuring secure and appropriate application access.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and JWT standards.
  • Ensure authentication and authorization flows are secure and efficient.
  • Perform hands-on development/coding in Okta (including custom scripts, hooks, or integrations).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve authentication or provisioning service failures by analyzing issues and implementing corrective actions promptly.
