Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nutanix Storage SME to join our infrastructure team, focusing on supporting and maintaining our on-premises virtualization environment built on VMware ESXi and Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure. This role is urgent due to the current SME's departure, and the position will initially be remote with a potential relocation to Nashville, TN for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix technologies, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for VMware ESXi and Nutanix environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Nutanix storage replication technologies including Async DR, Metro Availability, and NearSync.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of virtual infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
- Document procedures and maintain system configuration records.
Key Skills:
- Proven hands-on experience with VMware ESXi in an enterprise on-prem environment.
- Deep expertise in Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Nutanix storage replication technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization issues independently.
- Experience with Prism Central and other Nutanix management tools.
- Strong scripting or automation skills are a plus.
