Summary: The Network Support SME role involves evaluating TDM DS0 circuit statuses and creating documentation and action plans for a long-term project with a tier 1 carrier. The position requires analyzing data points and test results to validate circuits and collaborating with teams to resolve issues before disconnect requests. Candidates must have extensive telecommunications experience and circuit testing expertise. This is a fully remote contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and evaluate TDM DS0 circuit lists to assess circuit status.
- Create appropriate documentation and action plans based on circuit evaluations.
- Analyze multiple data points and automated test results for circuit validity.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve circuit-related issues.
- Review Excel spreadsheet trackers showing circuit lists.
- Add notes documenting analysis and conclusions for each circuit.
- Determine next appropriate steps for each circuit.
- Support downstream teams during implementation as needed.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
Key Skills:
- Former AT&T employee.
- Circuit testing experience.
- 8+ years in telecommunications specializing in TDM Maintenance or Service Delivery.
- Experience in TDM DS0 Tier II or Tier III Advanced Tech Support.
- Proven experience as a testing technician troubleshooting TDM DS0 circuits.
- Strong understanding of TDM Architecture and Services (DS0, DS1, DS3, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to balance priorities and multitask effectively.
