Summary: The Network Engineer role is a 6-month contract focused on supporting a business transition by onboarding new networking hardware. The position requires expertise in Cisco networking and related technologies, with a strong emphasis on cloud networking and firewall management. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the office in either Leeds or Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the transition of the network and onboarding of new networking hardware.
• Implement and manage Cisco networking solutions.
• Work with Palo Alto firewalls and Azure Vnets.
• Handle cloud networking, load balancing, WAN, and SD-WAN configurations.
• Implement OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS protocols.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth network operations.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Cisco networking and network management.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and Azure networking.
• Experience with cloud networking and load balancing.
• Proficiency in WAN and SD-WAN technologies.
• Implementation experience with OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS.
• Must possess a UK Passport.
