Summary: The Network Architect role involves designing, implementing, and evolving network architecture for the ESN programme, requiring deep technical expertise and strategic leadership. Candidates must possess active SC clearance and be prepared to work under an inside IR35 classification. This is a remote position for a duration of 12 months.

Key Skills:

- Expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, VPN, Data Center LAN, Data Center WAN, DNS and network segmentation
- Familiarity with Network Automation and monitoring tooling
- In-depth understanding of network security principles
- Experience in supplier management and contract negotiations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, team leadership and communications skills

Role Description:
Network Architect responsible for key aspects of design, implementation and evolution of network architecture for the ESN programme. Role requires deep network technical expertise and strategic planning and leadership skills to ensure delivery of a mission critical, robust, highly resilient, scalable, secure and high-performing network solution. Candidates need to work closely with the IBM Design Authority team, Data Center Infrastructure Supplier and Security Teams to align the overall network approach and delivery.
