Summary: The Murex Finance Consultant role involves providing production support and advising on best practices related to Murex systems in capital markets technology. The consultant will participate in client implementations, manage issues, and communicate development needs while also providing training. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial institutions and a strong academic background in relevant fields. Proficiency in English and knowledge of Unix/Linux and SQL is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on Murex best practices in position management, accounting, hedge accounting, and financial reporting.
- Contributing to client site MX3 implementations during requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment phases.
- Providing client support, managing open issues, and supporting upgrade activities.
- Communicating development needs to the Murex product development team.
- Providing internal and external training.
Key Skills:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in capital markets technology.
- Experience supporting trading, treasury, or accounting at banks or financial institutions.
- Strong academic background in accounting, engineering, or math-based disciplines.
- Knowledge of Unix or Linux operating systems, SQL, and basic programming.
- Advanced level of English.

Job Description:
Advising on Murex best practices in the PL processes position management accounting hedge accounting and financial reporting
Contributing to client site MX3 implementations during the requirements gathering design build test and deployment phases by participating in workshops preparing documentation configuring client requirements and performing quality assurance tests
Providing client support including managing open issues and supporting upgrade activities
Communicating development needs to the Murex product development team
Providing internal and external training
Who you are:
Ideal candidate is someone with 2 to 3 years experience in capital markets technology
Preferable experience includes supporting either trading treasury or accounting at banks or other financial institutions or has experience with other fintech vendors
Strong academic background in accounting engineering or math-based discipline math operations research statistics etc
Knowledge of Unix or Linux operating system SQL and basic programming is a plus
Advanced level of English is mandatory
