Summary: The Microsoft Cloud Consultant role focuses on designing, implementing, and migrating cloud solutions specifically for Azure and Microsoft 365. The position requires extensive technical expertise and consulting skills to lead high-impact cloud transformation projects for enterprise clients. This is a remote position with a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension, and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Microsoft Azure & M365 cloud solutions.
• Develop hybrid cloud solutions integrating public, private, and on-premise components.
• Lead IT infrastructure and application migrations to Azure.
• Support end-to-end cloud migration projects from planning to execution.
• Develop operational concepts for cloud adoption and collaborate with IT operations teams.
• Advise customers on Azure & M365 best practices.
• Identify and propose innovative Microsoft features to enhance customer business.
• Evaluate and recommend new Azure & M365 services for technology portfolio development.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products to optimize solution designs.
• Understand Microsoft licensing models to ensure cost-effective cloud adoption.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft Azure & M365 or hybrid cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and DevOps principles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and Office 365.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of application infrastructures, hybrid cloud environments, and architectural concepts.
• Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate, Windows Virtual Desktop Specialty.
