Summary: The Lead Facilitator for the AI for Software Developers Program is responsible for overseeing the execution of an 11-week AI education initiative aimed at upskilling software engineers. This full-time, remote role requires expertise in learning design, technical facilitation, and student support, ensuring participants gain practical AI development experience. The facilitator will lead lectures, workshops, and provide technical support while collaborating with subject matter experts and community managers. Availability during ET working hours is essential for this 3.5-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine lecture content, workshops, and learning materials to align with program outcomes.
  • Structure learning experiences that combine theory, hands-on coding, and real-world applications.
  • Design interactive exercises and technical challenges to reinforce AI concepts.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to integrate advanced AI topics into the curriculum.
  • Adapt materials based on student progress and feedback to ensure an engaging experience.
  • Lead live lectures and technical workshops, guiding students through AI concepts and coding exercises.
  • Host guest speaker sessions, ensuring discussions align with key learning objectives.
  • Oversee ~60 students, tracking engagement and identifying those who may need additional support.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to manage student communications and program logistics.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and troubleshooting on technical challenges related to Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, and Hugging Face.
  • Guide students in evaluating and deploying AI models, helping them connect theory to practical applications.
