Summary: The JIRA Administrator will manage and optimize the Atlassian ecosystem for a multi-brand operation, focusing on integrating enterprise IT tools such as Azure and Active Directory. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Atlassian Suite (JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, Confluence) across multiple brands and departments.
- Design, implement, and maintain custom workflows, fields, schemes, permissions, and automations in JIRA.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate Active Directory and manage user provisioning/access controls in alignment with corporate policies.
- Support cloud infrastructure alignment, including Microsoft Azure integration for user authentication, directory services, and application interoperability.
- Maintain and improve JIRA project templates, dashboards, custom reports, and filters to meet evolving business needs.
- Lead system upgrades, plugin evaluations, and best practice rollouts across the Authority Brands enterprise.
- Manage user roles, groups, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes within JIRA and Confluence.
- Provide training, documentation, and support for internal users and stakeholders.
- Stay current on Atlassian updates, security features, and roadmap to recommend new tools or enhancements.
- Support audit, compliance, and data governance efforts as related to system access and configuration.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience administering JIRA and Confluence in a professional setting.
- Solid knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, including JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and related add-ons like ScriptRunner or Automation for Jira.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including group policy management and user provisioning.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure AD and integrations with Atlassian or enterprise applications.
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to design scalable, business-aligned solutions.
- Experience with permission schemes, project templates, service desks, and automation rules.
- Strong documentation, training, and communication skills.
- Bonus: Atlassian certifications (ACP-610, ACP-620, etc.) or scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Groovy).
