Summary: The Java Developer role focuses on migrating existing Pharmacy Supply Chain batch programs from Solaris to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) while upgrading applications to Java 8 and refactoring to Java 17. The position requires strong development skills, particularly in Spring, Angular, and RESTful services, along with experience in DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and estimate development efforts for Supply Chain solutions.
- Upgrade existing WebLogic-based applications to Java 8.
- Refactor and migrate batch solutions to Java 17.
- Transition batch programs from Solaris to RHEL.
- Migrate source code from TFS to Azure DevOps (if required).
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Collaborate with QA and support teams for testing and validation.
- Deploy and monitor changes during the stabilization phase.
- Maintain technical documentation including procedures and support materials.
- Ensure proper change control documentation is updated and tracked.
