Summary: The Interim Part-Time Payroll & HR Support Specialist will provide essential payroll and HR support for a global fintech client, focusing on non-US locations. This part-time role, requiring three days a week, will assist the UK HR Director and involves managing payroll processes and general HR tasks for international teams. The position is primarily remote but requires the candidate to be based in the UK for occasional meetings. The role offers opportunities for involvement in future mergers and acquisitions as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage/support payroll processing for non-US locations in collaboration with external payroll providers.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits in non-US regions.
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures for international teams.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support for employees in non-US locations, including benefits administration and employee inquiries.
  • Support the on-boarding and off-boarding process for international employees.
  • Administer and maintain HRIS systems for accurate record-keeping for international employees.
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure consistency and alignment of HR practices across regions.
  • Communicate effectively with international teams to provide HR support and resolve payroll-related issues.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in HR and payroll administration, particularly in international or multi-location support.
  • Knowledge of UK payroll processes and familiarity with international payroll compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of UK HR policies, employment law, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent data, spreadsheet, and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
