Summary: The role of Interim Legal Resource involves supporting the Chief Legal Officer of a next-generation energy supplier by assisting in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of various contracts. The position is part-time and flexible, requiring the candidate to work approximately 10-15 hours per week, primarily remotely with occasional face-to-face meetings. The candidate must be based in the central belt of Scotland and will work on a rolling month-to-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Legal Counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, including supplier and customer contracts.
- Creating playbooks for the business (NDA’s / supply agreements) to improve legal processes.
- Driving continuous improvement in legal strategy and processes across the business, including supplier and customer contracts and IT contracts.
