Summary: The Interim Management Accountant role at Bigspark is a fully remote position requiring a qualified accountant with over five years of experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end financial reporting
  • Full monthly management accounts & KPI pack
  • Responsible for the balance sheet and P&L
  • Maintaining all ledgers
  • Cash flow management
  • Annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Overseeing AP & AR
  • Overseeing the monthly sales invoices to ensure they are accurate and timely
  • Year end accounts and VAT reporting
  • Inter-company transactions
  • Group reporting across different jurisdictions
  • Constantly looking to make efficiencies and automate processes where possible
  • Continually drive and improve reporting, processes and systems, promoting an analytical and detailed approach

Key Skills:

  • Full professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience In Management Accounts And Forecasting
  • Solid understanding of the balance sheet and reconciliations
  • Experience in cashflow management
  • Self-starter, who can pick up tasks quickly and understand the bigger picture
  • Commercial understanding and business acumen
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Suite and advanced Excel
  • Advanced working knowledge of Xero
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines and support the business within a busy environment

The role

An Qualified Accountant with 5 years plus of experience is needed to join our team at bigspark on a fully remote basis for a period of 4 months. This role will manage bigsparks monthly accounting and provide accurate reporting to the executive leadership team. The role has potential to grow as bigspark grows in 2026.
