Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7/365 coverage for IBMi applications including Robot scheduler, Tidal scheduler, and Sterling Integrator.
- Respond to messages and triage errors to the appropriate teams.
- Monitor system health including Claim adjudication jobs, CPU alerts, and storage monitoring.
- Perform and monitor all backups on the IBMi Platform.
- Research and react to robot job messages and monitor jobs outside normal parameters.
- Monitor Sterling Integrator for database usage and file delivery errors.
- Engage Tidal Admins for job failures and alert business partners of issues.
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of IBMi monitoring experience.
- Experience performing backups.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong communication and personal interaction skills.
- Ability to work in a flexible shift environment (24 x 7).

Job Description:
Preferred Qualifications:
- The monitor position has 24/7/365 coverage for the following applications: All IBMi lpars, Robot scheduler and console, Tidal scheduler, and Sterling Integrator.
- The monitor team answers messages where the correct response can be determined, and triages errors to the correct team, depending on the contents or location of the message.
- Responsible for processes, training, continuous improvement, system automation.
- System health monitoring of: Claim adjudication jobs, ASP alerts, CPU alerts, Claims queue monitoring, Storage monitoring, Connect Direct subsystem,
- Contact different teams if requested by on-call
- For application upgrade events, place job queues on HOLD for MOD and Patch instances,
- Responsible for performing and monitoring all backups on the IBMi Platform.
- Robot Job Monitoring: Research and react to robot job messages, Monitor jobs that are running outside of normal parameters, Reset inbound automation, MAC file processing completion, Robot job queue health, Submit Hold Release robot jobs, Payment balancing, Collaborate with Client Programs team, Eligibility team, Accumulator team, Account Management, to understand robot job failures and messages, Knowledge of job types and their importance, Alert necessary personnel for Reference File issues, Complete audit process for failed Robot jobs, Inbound robot job monitoring.
- Sterling Integrator monitoring: Monitor Database usage, In Error Business Process Usage, Stagnant Message alerts, IRIS file delivery is run through Sterling Integrator, EDI 835 Payment files, Scriptmed, EskerFax, Sterling Integrator file delivery errors [first and second level research]
- Tidal job monitoring: Monitor all servers, Submit Hold Release jobs, Mark jobs as complete, Engage Tidal Admins when jobs fail, Alert business partners of failed jobs, Billing and Payment services jobs, Tidal completes a number of automatic monitoring processes.
Required Qualifications:
