Summary: The HCM Technical Workday Consultant role involves supporting a global Workday rollout across multiple international partners, focusing on configuring key HCM modules for a successful go-live. The position requires extensive experience in Workday HCM configuration, particularly in Core HR, Time Tracking, and Payroll, with an emphasis on international implementations. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor configurations and support user acceptance testing. This is a 12-month contract role with immediate start dates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Workday HCM modules, primarily Core HR, Time Tracking/Keeping, and Third-Party Payroll
- Interpret and implement configurations based on complex workbooks for international site launches
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand localization needs and tailor configurations accordingly
- Support user acceptance testing and deploy finalized configurations into production
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for configuration, integration, and business processes
- Provide detailed specifications for system changes and enhancements
- Assist in the ongoing refinement of Workday best practices and implementation strategies
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience, with focus on Core HR, Time, and Payroll
- Experience supporting international Workday implementations
- Familiarity with other Workday modules such as Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, and Benefits is a plus
- Strong documentation and process development skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, global project environment
- Proven ability to interpret and configure based on workbooks and business requirements
- Ability to start immediately and commit to a 12-month engagement
