This role will be instrumental in supporting the deployment, integration, and validation of SCADA/EMS systems to ensure secure, stable, and efficient grid operations. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electric utility control systems, GE EMS architecture, and end-to-end process validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with GE EMS (Grid Solutions or Alstom Grid EMS).
- Solid understanding of SCADA protocols (DNP3, ICCP/TASE.2, Modbus, etc.).
- Proven expertise in EMS validation, testing methodologies, and real-time systems integration.
- Experience with power system operations, generation dispatch, and transmission network analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a mission-critical, real-time operational environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EMS deployment projects (migration, upgrade, or greenfield).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for SCADA/EMS (e.g., NERC CIP).
