Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Life & Annuity Insurance domain with a strong focus on Policy Administration.
  • Strong understanding of policy life cycle processes: new business, issue, premium processing, servicing, claims, etc.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing data from legacy COBOL systems and mapping to modern platforms (such as ALIP, FAST, Vantage, or other policy admin platforms).
  • Expertise in identifying and documenting data entities and attributes specific to L&A domain.
  • Proficient in preparing data dictionaries, data mapping documents, and data flow diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for data integrity and consistency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex data topics into business-friendly language.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and ETL concepts is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is desirable.
