Summary: Our client is looking for a Full Stack Engineer for a remote, contract-to-hire position within a technology company focused on innovating the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React, Node.js, and cloud-native development, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong problem-solving ability. The contract duration is 6 months, leading to a potential permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code in React for the front-end and Node.js for the back end.
  • Participate in the architecture and implementation of cloud-native solutions, leveraging technologies such as AWS serverless.
  • Assist in solving technical problems and troubleshoot issues during development and production.
  • Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality and best practices.
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies and apply them as appropriate to our development process.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with 2 to 5 years of hands-on development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in React and Node.js, with a track record of delivering successful web applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development principles and experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and related libraries (e.g., Redux).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Salary (Rate): 42.00
