Summary: The Finance Transformation Director for France will lead the strategic design and implementation of finance transformation initiatives within a global market-leading business based in London. This role requires fluency in French and English and involves modernizing systems, streamlining processes, and enhancing data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee whole financial transformation initiatives, streamlining procedures and systems to increase scalability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to comprehend strategic goals and convert them into workable plans for financial transformation.
  • Take the lead in creating and putting into effect new financial policies, practices, and controls.
  • Take responsibility for the organization’s overall design, implementation, and continuing upkeep of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) framework.
  • Verify compliance with SOX requirements, including documentation, control testing, and fixing any flaws found.
  • Create and present SOX compliance training to the appropriate teams.
  • Promote ongoing development in the financial department by seeing areas for process optimisation and automation.
  • During times of transition, offer perceptive financial reporting and analysis to aid in decision-making.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Key Skills:

  • A certified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification).
  • The role requires fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) due to its international nature.
  • Strong post-qualification experience in a senior finance position, emphasising process development and transformation.
  • Comprehensive understanding and real-world expertise in setting up and maintaining a SOX framework.
  • Outstanding comprehension of risk management concepts and internal controls.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
