Summary: The ERP Architect role focuses on leading the discovery phase of a transformation program for a public sector client, emphasizing the re-architecting and integration of financial ERP systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite. The position requires a strong functional design capability across various finance processes and the development of an integration strategy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document as-is and to-be finance capabilities, identifying gaps and areas for automation or efficiency
  • Lead functional design across key finance areas: CoA, P2P, payments, grants
  • Create an integration strategy between systems (NetSuite, AWS, PTX, and others)
  • Work with internal stakeholders to assess replacement ERP options and support the business case
  • Support migration planning and execution from NetSuite to a new ERP solution
  • Guide the implementation and testing of finance capabilities, especially around Grants integration

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an ERP Architect or Financial ERP SME or similar
  • Deep functional knowledge of financial modules including AP, GL, Banking, Payments, POs, etc.
  • Strong expertise with Oracle NetSuite
  • Understanding of integration tools, preferably including BottomLine PTX and AWS
  • Experience leading process mapping, data migration, and integration design
  • Familiarity with HMG frameworks and public sector procurement (nice to have)

We’re looking for an experienced ERP Architect to join an exciting transformation programme for a high-impact client in the public sector. This role will play a pivotal part in re-architecting and integrating a financial ERP landscape — with a strong focus on Oracle NetSuite and public sector finance processes. You’ll lead both the functional process design (across areas like grants, AP, payments, invoicing, banking, GL) and technical integration strategy, helping the organisation optimise and modernise their finance systems, processes, and data flows.
