Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect involves documenting and mapping various systems including People/HRIS, Identity/IAM, help desk, and ERP systems to achieve architectural clarity. The position requires extensive experience in enterprise architecture and integration design to identify flaws and recommend improvements. The architect will collaborate with IT, HR, and operations stakeholders across global teams. This is a remote contract position lasting over three months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map all People/HRIS, IAM, ERP, workforce management, and payroll systems end-to-end
- Identify integration design flaws and recommend corrections
- Produce data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), primary/secondary key mappings, and state transition diagrams
- Develop a master data model and associated data controls
- Document the full employee and contractor record lifecycle across all systems
- Create operational SOP summaries for break/failure scenarios
- Work directly with IT, HR, and operations stakeholders across global teams
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a background in integration engineering and design/process work
- Deep expertise across ERP, HRIS, IAM, time management, and workforce management systems
- Ability to identify and correct integration design issues
- Strong command of data flow diagrams, ERDs, primary/secondary key mapping, master data management, and state transition diagrams
- Understanding of integration patterns: batch, synchronous, asynchronous, error handling logic, and time zone management across systems
- Able to work cross-functionally with global teams across US, Prague, and India
