Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect focuses on supporting a global consulting firm's project in the Banking sector, specifically within the Cards value chain. The position is contract-based, requiring expertise in various payment systems and compliance within the Visa and MasterCard ecosystems. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural guidance across the Cards value chain including issuing, authorisation, clearing, settlement, disputes, chargebacks, fraud controls, tokenisation, and customer servicing.
- Understand Visa & MasterCard ecosystem including scheme rules, interchange models, settlement cycles, compliance obligations, and lifecycle events.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the payments domain including Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS, SWIFT, SEPA, and ISO20022.
Key Skills:
- Experience in the Cards value chain.
- Understanding of Visa & MasterCard ecosystem.
- Payments domain knowledge.
- Ability to work on a contract basis until the end of 2026.
- Willingness to travel to Milton Keynes as required.

Our client is a global consulting firm, they are working on a project in the Banking space, and are on the lookout for an Enterprise Architect to come in on a contract basis.

Contract is running until the end of 2026 initially, paying up to £720p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be mainly remote with ad hoc travel to Milton Keynes when required.
