Summary: The role of a Product Owner involves collaborating with IT Product Owners and program areas to develop IT solutions for educational programs. The position requires ownership of both strategic and tactical solution functionalities, managing product intake processes, and fostering relationships with project managers and scrum masters. Additionally, the Product Owner will champion Agile methodologies and ensure that product functionalities are prioritized and documented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across a team of IT Product Owners and with multiple program areas to build solutions for education programs.
- Own the IT solution vision for a particular product or product domain and decompose the vision into IT work.
- Establish subject matter expertise in IT solution functionalities to document acceptance criteria and functional priorities.
- Receive and organize the intake of work providing business valued solutions.
- Build strong relationships with designated program areas and serve as a trusted advisor to create solutions leveraging existing and new technology solutions.
- Build strong interdependent relationships with project managers and scrum masters to implement and support IT Solutions efficiently.
- Adopt and grow Agile, scrum, and iterative advancements while adhering to Agile principles.
- Ensure product functionality is properly prioritized, scoped, evaluated, and documented.
