Summary: The E-Invoicing Project Manager will lead a critical pan-European eInvoicing compliance initiative, ensuring adherence to evolving tax regulations. This role involves managing all project phases, from mobilization to post-implementation support, while engaging with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the eInvoicing compliance programme across multiple territories.
- Drive planning, execution, and governance in line with internal gate processes.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including Tax, Finance, Technology, and Engineering.
- Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment across business and delivery teams.
- Manage resources, budgets, and external partners to optimise delivery.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain a robust communications plan and cadence of updates.
- Oversee cutover planning, portfolio reporting, and post-go-live triage.
- Ensure successful acceptance into service and long-term support readiness.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale eInvoicing or tax compliance programmes.
- Strong understanding of digital tax reporting frameworks (e.g. Peppol, SAF-T, RTIR, VIDA, SII).
- Comfortable leading technical conversations and challenging assumptions.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tax and invoicing processes is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pivot quickly and maintain delivery momentum under pressure.

About the Programme
As part of a major compliance initiative, we are delivering a pan-European eInvoicing solution to meet evolving tax regulations. This programme is legally mandated and mission-critical—requiring daily digital submission of transaction data to tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions. With new EU regulations coming into force in 2025, the scope and urgency of this work are expanding rapidly. This project will implement a universal integration model to replace bespoke country-level solutions, reducing internal development overhead and ensuring long-term scalability.
The Role
