Digital Supply Chain Communications Lead

Location: Remote (Preference for Scotland or London-based candidates)
Contract Length: 12 months
Availability: Immediate
Travel: Limited, occasional travel to Scotland may be required

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Lead with a strong background in corporate communications, digital transformation, and change management (with a focus on communication rather than change management roles). The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience working in complex, global matrix environments, preferably within the financial sector. Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and exposure to the manufacturing or FMCG industry would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and execute communication strategies supporting digital transformation and change initiatives across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Develop tailored communication plans to engage diverse internal audiences, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging across multiple channels.
  • Support communication efforts related to procurement and supply chain processes, aligning with broader corporate goals.
  • Act as the communication liaison for global matrix teams, ensuring information flows efficiently within different regions and departments.
  • Contribute to the corporate narrative by ensuring alignment with the organization s values, vision, and strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement by managing communication around complex projects and transformational change programs.

Key Requirements:


  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on digital transformation and change communication.
  • Strong understanding of global matrix organizations and the ability to navigate complex corporate environments.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing/FMCG sectors is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven track record in managing communication strategies for large-scale transformation initiatives within a financial institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working in or with financial institutions.
  • Knowledge or experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing/FMCG environments.
  • Proven success in leading communication strategies within a global matrix structure.
