Summary: The Digital Learning Solutions Specialist will lead the selection and implementation of a new digital learning platform to enhance financial guidance across the UK. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define learning technology requirements and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The specialist will also support market engagement and develop procurement specifications for learning technologies. The position is crucial for leveraging advanced learning technologies in a government-backed self-development program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and prioritise learning technology requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Inform user journeys, user experience, and service design for the new learning platform and associated content.
- Support market engagement for learning platforms/systems, digital content production and management, and managed learning services.
- Develop procurement specifications and assessment criteria.
- Analyse and evaluate potential solutions, providing expert guidance on market trends, vendor capabilities, and implementation best practices.
- Plan for the deployment of new technologies, including the decommissioning and migration of existing systems.
- Develop a high-level roadmap for implementation and ensure effective knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in large-scale digital training/learning programmes designed for external, diverse user groups from different organisations, sectors, and job roles.
- Expertise in transactional learning (eg, trackable E-learning, assessments) and social learning that fosters peer-to-peer interaction and learning communities.
- Demonstrated success in deploying and managing learning technologies, including platforms/systems (eg, LMS, LXP), digital content production and delivery, and scaling digital learning services.
- Hands-on experience migrating from existing to new learning technologies.
- Deep understanding of product comparison, feature evaluation, and market trends.
- Experience with government commercial processes and digital standards.
- Familiarity with advancements in learning technologies, including AI-driven tools and applications.
