What You'll Do
- Design Complex Challenges: Craft advanced data science problems spanning hyperparameter optimization, Bayesian inference, cross-validation strategies, dimensionality reduction, and more — pushing AI models to their limits
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions: Develop rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions including Python/R scripts, SQL queries, and mathematical derivations that serve as benchmark "golden responses"
- Audit AI-Generated Code: Evaluate AI outputs using libraries like Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow — assessing technical accuracy, efficiency, and correctness
- Refine AI Reasoning: Identify logical flaws in AI-generated reasoning — such as data leakage, overfitting, or improper handling of imbalanced datasets — and provide structured feedback to improve model performance
- Document Failure Modes: Systematically capture how and where AI models break down, producing insights that directly harden model reasoning
Who You Are
- Advanced Degree: Master's (pursuing or completed) or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field with heavy emphasis on data analysis
- Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge across supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop), or NLP
- Analytical Writer: Able to communicate complex algorithmic concepts and statistical results clearly and concisely in written form
- Detail-Oriented: High precision when reviewing code syntax, mathematical notation, and the validity of statistical conclusions
- No prior AI experience required — your data science expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems
- Proficiency in production-level data science workflows such as MLOps or CI/CD for models
