Summary: The Data Engineer/Data Scientist role is a remote position requiring extensive experience in data science and engineering, particularly in model development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and automate predictive models for risk selection, coverage optimization, and fraud detection.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Model Risk & Compliance assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and integrate models into production.
  • Implement ML techniques (Cisco Modeling preferred) for model development and automation.
  • Monitor and maintain models for performance and accuracy.
  • Support future initiatives in advanced model development and geo-spatial modeling.
  • Extract and analyze data from Guidewire and other P&C systems for model inputs and reporting.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years as a Data Scientist with strong data engineering and model development background.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Hive, BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in Snowflake.

  • Proficiency in:
