Summary: The Data Analyst, also referred to as a Business Systems Developer (Assessment Reports), plays a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accreditation standards within the university's IT team. This position focuses on developing and testing assessment reports, providing technical support, and collaborating with various teams to enhance student success. It is a 9-month fixed-term contract, primarily remote, covering maternity leave. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical background and experience in report writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test high-quality reports to support student assessments.
- Review and verify data accuracy before report submission.
- Maintain organised records and support internal and external audits.
- Provide technical support to assessment users via the Service Desk.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to meet reporting requirements.
Key Skills:
- Experience in report writing, ideally within an educational institution.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of database architecture and Crystal Reports.
- Ability to manage workloads efficiently and communicate technical concepts clearly.
