Summary: The D365 Business Central Technical Architect role involves developing and customizing Microsoft D365 Business Central solutions for a manufacturing firm. The position requires a motivated individual to grow with the company while handling technical specifications, data conversions, integrations, and report writing. The role is fully remote and focuses on enhancing both company-built and third-party applications. Candidates should have significant experience in Business Central development and customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical specifications supporting the recommendations
- Customize Business Central to meet these specifications
- Define and develop data conversions and test scripts
- Develop integrations between BC and other applications
- Write reports using AL, SSRS, and Visual Studio
- Install, upgrade, and apply updates to Business Central
- Develop and enhance company built BC solutions and third party applications
Key Skills:
- 5+ years technical expertise in developing in Microsoft D365 Business Central
- Experience customizing Business Central
- Experience with Lanham EDI, E-Ship, E-Receive
- Familiarity with core business processes such as accounting, distribution, or manufacturing
- Experience with converting data from legacy systems into Business Central
- Experience with .Net, MS SQL, SSRS preferred
- Business Central Development, Install and Configuration certifications preferred
- Functional knowledge of the finance, supply chain, and other modules
