Summary: The Business Objects Developer role involves redeveloping contractual reports from a Back End Remedy Dataset to a ServiceNow Dataset. The position requires strong expertise in Business Objects systems, SQL design, and BI development, with a focus on delivering high-quality reporting solutions. The role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite work in Herts or Central London, and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Business Objects reports and dashboard solutions for various Business Intelligence projects and write functional and technical specs.
- Maintain a solid technical background and experience in reporting, Business Intelligence, and MIS applications.
- Understand and implement solutions to support physical data models for Business Intelligence reporting initiatives.
- Define and design the universe, BI dashboards, and reports.
- Develop, support, and improve existing BO systems, including both Universe and Reports.
- Document modifications of pre-existing development and new development for peer reference and knowledge transfer.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience while managing pressure and urgency, with professional communication across all business levels.
- Manage scope, customer expectations, control change, and negotiate compromise effectively.
- Prioritize, manage time, and schedule tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong multi-tasking skills.
Key Skills:
- Deep data management expertise with excellent SQL design and engineering skills.
- Strong BI development experience, including data manipulation, analysis, and visualization skills.
- Experience with Business Objects systems (Universe + Reports).
- Familiarity with ticketing tools similar to Remedy and/or ServiceNow.

Are you an experienced Business Objects Developer looking for a new challenge?
Do you have a background in BO systems (Universe + Reports) and along with strong experience of Ticketing Tools (similar to Remedy and/or ServiceNow)
Overview:
