Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, user researchers, and developers to define, document, and prioritize user needs.
- Develop and maintain product backlogs, ensuring clear and actionable requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
- Map user journeys, processes, and systems to support the design of user-centered digital services.
- Ensure all deliverables meet GDS standards, including preparation for GDS service assessments.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on objectives.
- Support Agile delivery by participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Analyse and document current and future business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide clear and concise documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working in Agile environments, preferably on government or public sector projects.
- Strong understanding of GDS principles, including the Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice.
- Experience mapping complex business processes and translating them into actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Familiarity with user-centered design (UCD) principles and collaboration with UX/UI teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering user-centered outcomes.
