Summary: The Business Analyst role is a contract position focused on bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams within a leading Change & Transformation Consultancy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
  • Create process maps and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for system enhancements.
  • Support the Product Backlog and Roadmap in partnership with Solution Architects.
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Analyse internal and external data sources to support decision-making.
  • Assist Project Managers with planning, risk management, and reporting.
  • Maintain effective relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in compliance-oriented environments.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent documentation and specification writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with backlog tracking, burndown metrics, and iterative delivery.
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools such as SharePoint.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, ITIL, Agile) are highly desirable.

Business Analyst – Contract Role (Outside IR35) Location: Remote (UK-Based) Rate: Up to £500/day Engagement: Outside IR35 Chapman Tate Associates are working in partnership with a leading Change & Transformation Consultancy to recruit an experienced Business Analyst for a key contract role. This is a fully remote opportunity for a professional who thrives in compliance-driven environments and complex digital transformation programmes.

Role Overview You will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to define, document, and deliver business requirements across a suite of IT products and services. Your work will support agile delivery, process improvement, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
