BMC Remedy ITSM

Summary: The Senior Software Engineer (BMC Remedy) role focuses on leveraging expertise in BMC Remedy Helix and ITSM modules to develop and maintain integrations and workflows. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BMC Remedy Helix applications and ITSM modules.
• Debug issues and provide solutions for application performance.
• Create and modify server objects including Forms, Menus, Active Links, Filters, and Escalations.
• Utilize XML technologies for data transformation and service orchestration.
• Set up monitors based on logs and manage UNIX commands.
• Implement upgrades and manage AR ITSM workflows and REST APIs.
• Integrate SmartIT, Dashboard, Virtual Chat, and Customer Interface.

Key Skills:

• Experience with BMC Remedy Helix application 20.x+ and ITSM modules.
• Proficiency in BMC Truesight Orchestrator.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Good experience with Webservices/Rest API.
• Knowledge of Shell or Python scripting.
• Familiarity with XML technologies (XQUERY, XPATH, XSLT).
• Understanding of UNIX commands.
• Skilled in creating and modifying server objects.
• Experience with upgrades and Remedy Administration.
