Summary: The role of Blockchain Developer (Web3 / dApps) involves building secure, user-focused decentralized applications for a leading IT client. This fully remote position is a 3-month rolling contract focused on developing Web3 infrastructure and smart contract solutions in collaboration with UX and product teams. The developer will be responsible for deploying smart contracts and integrating Web3 libraries while ensuring optimal performance and security. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy smart contracts for DeFi, NFTs, or tokenized platforms (Solidity, EVM-compatible)
  • Integrate Web3 libraries (e.g. Web3.js, Ethers.js) with frontend dApps and wallet providers
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless and intuitive interactions between smart contracts and user interfaces
  • Optimize smart contracts for security, performance, and low gas usage
  • Maintain clear documentation and participate in audits and peer reviews

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in blockchain development
  • Proven track record with Solidity, Ethereum-based contracts, and dApp development
  • Familiarity with wallet integration patterns (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  • Understanding of decentralised user flows and Web3 security best practices
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially alongside UX designers and frontend developers
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions, The Graph, or decentralised storage (IPFS/Filecoin)

Blockchain Developer (Web3 / dApps) V7 is supporting a leading client in the IT space who is seeking a Blockchain Developer with deep expertise in building secure, user-focused decentralised applications. This is a fully remote, 3-month rolling contract (outside IR35) focused on developing Web3 infrastructure and smart contract solutions in close collaboration with UX and product teams.
