Summary: The Azure Data Architect role focuses on designing and developing robust data architectures using Azure and Microsoft Fabric, with a strong emphasis on data governance and integration solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of contact for the client for technical delivery.
- Design and develop a robust data architecture that supports the organization's data needs.
- Define data architecture framework components including integration, data management, and data consumption.
- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Design and implement data integration solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Leverage Azure and Fabric services to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.
- Optimize data queries and ETL processes for efficient data access and analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Clarify any doubts or assumptions proactively.
- Work flexibly with teams in different time zones.
- Be self-motivated and accountable for work and deadlines.
- Set implementation paths for projects and perform effort estimations.
- Conduct customer demos.
