Summary: The role is for a senior consultant specializing in Aveva PI systems, focusing on data structuration and integration within a cloud-based architecture. The consultant will design, deploy, and support solutions for a project aimed at creating a unified data source for industrial data. The position requires extensive experience with various Aveva PI tools and collaboration with project stakeholders. The contract is set to last until December 2025, with a potential trip to Lyon, France.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the overall ecosystem around the Aveva PI system in the Cloud.
• Develop, test, and maintain the interface between SAP and MES using REST API protocol and PIWebAPI.
• Analyze CBM and configure PI AF and PI Vision.
• Manage incident troubleshooting and provide application support as needed.
• Participate in the project committee for new use cases and site implementations.
• Collect user cases, create templates, design and configure data models and libraries, and document solutions.
• Organize and plan training sessions as required.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar environment (PI / IP21).
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.
• Expertise in Aveva (OSisoft) PI system: PI AF, PI Vision, PI SMT, PI Builder, and PI DA.
• Knowledge of AspenTech IP21 historians.
• Experience in interface configuration of Aspen MES and/or PI.
• Familiarity with software engineering methods and tools.
• Knowledge of industrial and scientific software engineering.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and Microsoft Windows Servers (64-bit).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
