Summary: The Automation & Manual Tester role is a 3-month fixed-term contract within a dynamic fintech organization focused on driving positive change. The position involves taking ownership of test automation in an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality code for release, and influencing processes within the company. The successful candidate will work predominantly remotely but will attend in-person planning sessions in Nottinghamshire every three months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and steer the direction of test automation strategy and framework selection.
• Ensure code developed meets high standards and is fit for release.
• Establish the automation test function using frameworks like Cypress.
• Write and execute test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate within a product development team following Agile/SCRUM principles.

Key Skills:

• Experience with automation test frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, and/or Playwright.
• Proven track record in ensuring high software quality standards.
• Experience in both automation and manual testing.
• Familiarity with writing and executing test plans/test cases.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
