Summary: The Interim Head of Data at e.surv Chartered Surveyors will lead the development and deployment of innovative data products while coordinating workstreams and spearheading Data Governance and Management programs. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance data governance initiatives and ensure efficient delivery of data management strategies. The position is set within a dynamic team environment, emphasizing adaptability and proactive leadership. The role is a 5-month contract and classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Data Product Director with daily operations of the data function and contribute to broader strategy.
• Establish Data Management and Governance programs and drive data ownership into the business.
• Develop, lead, and implement plans for the Data Management and Governance Program.
• Perform gap analysis and build road maps to address identified gaps.
• Lead a multi-discipline team and manage project tasks including stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Ensure efficient and timely delivery of programs and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Create and refine delivery plans and manage project documentation.
• Manage third-party contracts.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Management concepts and frameworks.
• Project management using Azure DevOps.
• Agile delivery and change management experience.
• Software development and delivery (full SDLC).
• Exceptional organizational and people skills.
• Documentation skills.
• Experience in building and managing teams in a fast-moving startup environment.
