Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers.
- Develop and support a monolithic architecture.
- Assist in gathering and verifying requirements for new capabilities requested by the business.
- Utilize strong React.js skills for component UI architecture and Node.js skills for microservice development.
- Provide strong communication skills.
- Support development in a component UI/microservice environment.
- Build server-less applications using AWS cloud architecture.
- Ensure accessibility/508 compliant UI development.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of related experience, particularly with React, Node.js, and cloud-based microservice development.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Java 8+ SE, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Java Spring Boot framework, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Ability to write and read complex SQL queries.
- Experience with GIT or other central code repositories.
- Good leadership ability.

Story Behind the Need
- Team Everest is part of the Web Application Engineering team that is under Manage My Plan Pillar in the DXE department at Client. The team mainly focuses on delivering member related features on the Client Web Portals for our members.
- This team is composed of 3 developers, QA person, Product Owner and a Scrum Master. A member from UI/UX team also works during the starting phase of the project. All members of the team work remotely and follow the Agile methodology using Scrum ceremonies. No additional hiring needs as of now.
