Summary: The Account Relationship Manager role at Legal & General involves managing and developing a portfolio of broker and third-party relationships within the Mortgage Services division. Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving agreed sales and adoption targets through identifying and developing accounts across a range of LGMS products and propositions.
- Managing a portfolio of existing broker firms and third parties to retain and develop relationships.
- Developing and onboarding a self-generated pipeline of prospects from initial engagement to launch.
- Providing input into proposition development to tailor offerings for LGMS partners.
- Supporting the Head of Strategic Accounts with governance and process assessments for new and existing clients.
- Representing LGMS at external events to educate on the mortgage market and LGMS strategy.
- Seeking customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in product design and sales processes.
Key Skills:
- High level Customer and Account Management experience in a competitive environment, ideally within the Mortgage/Housing industry.
- Experience developing proposition initiatives and maximizing existing business opportunities.
- Knowledge of business strategy, customer communication, and business planning.
- Working knowledge of the UK mortgage lending market, ideally with fintech experience.
- Strong analytical, customer planning, service, communication, and development skills.
- Engagement, influencing, and presentation skills in various formats.
- Ideally CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) or willing to work towards it.
