Summary: The Regulatory Compliance Advisor will join a leading commodities firm in London on a 6-month contract, focusing on assessing regulations and their impact on business operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of upcoming regulations and their potential impact on business operations.
- Mapping regulatory obligations to business processes and internal controls.
- Supporting the interpretation and analysis of key regulations such as MiFID II, MAR, EMIR, and REMIT.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including Legal, Risk, and Finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to regulatory compliance.
- Leading regulatory reporting and assisting with ad-hoc queries from internal teams.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the commodities or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with key regulations in energy markets or trading, including MiFID II, MAR, EMIR, and REMIT.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and reporting, with experience in market abuse and trading compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse stakeholders.
