The Role
As a Recruitment Sales Consultant, youll be responsible for developing and managing client relationships across our strategic growth sectors. Your core focus will be identifying contract hiring needs, selling Broadreachs workforce solutions, and ensuring our delivery team is set up to succeed. Youll act as the first point of contact for new and existing accounts, taking ownership of the sales pipeline and developing opportunities with OEMs, subcontractors, consultancies, and project delivery partners.
What Youll Do
- Win new business in contract recruitment across marine, rail, energy, and defence sectors
- Engage key accounts: warm and cold through outbound prospecting, tenders, and networking
- Travel and be present in front of of our clients
- Qualify contract briefs and scope IR35 or PAYE requirements with hiring managers
- Work closely with the delivery team to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance
- Lead meaningful conversations not just about CVs, but workforce planning and strategic value
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Vincere) and collaborate across the team
- Represent Broadreach with integrity, humour, and purpose in-person and online
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience in contract recruitment sales (360 or BD-focused)
- A track record of building client relationships that last
- Excellent commercial acumen and a consultative sales approach
- Hunger to succeed, humility to learn, and the emotional intelligence to build trust fast
- A genuine interest in technical sectors (marine, defence, rail, or energy)
- Confidence in using recruitment tech (we use Vincere as a CRM and some other excellent tools and tech)
- Understanding of IR35, contractor care and compliance frameworks (preferred)
- Must hold passport and UK drivers licence
