Working pattern: 5 days per week on site

The role
This is an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor position working on a live rail framework in the Northwest, initially with a subcontractor, with clear exposure and progression working alongside and into the main contractor team. It’s a hands-on delivery role, suited to someone who wants proper site experience rather than sitting behind a desk.

The work
You’ll be supporting the commercial delivery of rail works under NEC / NR forms of contract, working closely with site teams, the commercial lead, and the main contractor interface.

Day to day will include:

  • Supporting subcontract commercial management on live rail works
  • Assisting with applications for payment and assessments
  • Change management and variations
  • Cost tracking, forecasting and CVR input
