Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Tender and Project specific Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Plans in line with client specification requirements
- Review of supplier's Inspection and Test Plans and procedures ensuring compliance with client specifications (including NDE, Testing and Welding)
- Review of suppliers completed certification and manufacturing data dossiers
- Undertake a range of verification activities relating to dimensional, NDT, welding and fabrication, coating, hydro-testing, and functional/factory acceptance testing and preservation
- Perform ISO 9001 based Internal process quality audits
- Support external supplier evaluation through audit / capability assessment in line with client specification/ ISO 9001 standard
- Liaise with clients and suppliers on quality control requirements and verification activities
- Performing “off-site” verification activities, including witness inspection activities
- Act as QC representative at client and Supplier Kick-Off Meetings and Pre-Inspection Meetings
- Undertake other reasonable duties within the assurance engineers capability as requested by the Manager of Assurance / commensurate with the role
Key Skills:
- HNC in Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience in the creation of Inspection and Test Plans
- Experience in QC disciplines: dimensional, NDT, welding, coating, hydro-testing, and functional/factory acceptance testing
- Experience with interpretation of engineering drawings

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their Assurance Department reporting to the Manager of Assurance. The role requires a strong background in Quality Control and experience in Quality Assurance.
The Role
