Summary: The Quality Control Engineer (E&I) role involves ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and providing technical support across engineering and construction teams within a leading asset management services provider. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, including ISO9001 and ISO27001.
  • Support the provision of Lifetime Quality Records, System Information Sheets (SIS), and O&M documentation.
  • Provide technical quality support across engineering and construction teams.
  • Liaise with E&I Quality and Commissioning Engineers, Project Engineers, and Construction Operatives.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections and manage inspection activities.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Raise Continuous Improvement Forms (CIFs) and collaborate with client QA departments.
  • Maintain quality documentation within the Business Management System.
  • Promote improvements in product and process quality while reducing the cost of poor quality.
  • Participate in daily and weekly completion meetings and support a strong HSE culture.

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) disciplines.
  • Proven engineering and quality control experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Essential qualifications: C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection, CSCS Card.
  • Desirable: Current SC Clearance (or ability to obtain).
