Quality Control Analyst

New Opportunity | QC Analyst | Dartford I’m working with a leading pharmaceutical contract manufacturing and development organisation that is looking to add an experienced QC Analyst to its expanding Quality team at their site in Dartford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on analytical work in a GMP-regulated environment and wants to contribute directly to the smooth running of production and quality operations.

About the role: As a QC Analyst, you’ll carry out a wide range of quality control analyses to support production — including in-process controls, composite samples and finished product testing. You’ll be performing a variety of analytical tests using validated methods and SOPs, ensuring all work complies with cGMP and EHS standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine and non-routine testing (particle size analysis, cleaning verification, identification testing, FTIR and more)
• Performing method development and validation activities when needed
• Preparing clear, accurate documentation, Certificates of Analysis, Statements of Results and Cleaning Certificates
• Troubleshooting and optimising analytical methods
• Supporting technology transfer activities and pharmacopoeia analyses as appropriate
• Collaborating closely with production and other internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and on-time release

About you: Practical experience in QC testing within the pharmaceutical industry Familiarity with GMP standards and good documentation practices Hands-on experience with particle size analysis, FTIR, or related analytical techniques is desirable Strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams Flexibility to adapt to business needs and changing production demands
